The 1000 Islands region has over 80 miles of groomed trails maintained by the 1000 Islands Snowmobile Club. The trails will bring you through the towns of Alexandria Bay, Cape Vincent, Chaumont, Clayton, Depauville and LaFargeville, into St. Lawrence County, and beyond. Parking, dining establishments and gas stations are conveniently located at trail heads or near the trail.

Throughout the winter you’ll find unbeatable ice fishing for northern pike, walleyes and tasty yellow perch in the many bays. This is the only place in the state without a daily catch limit on yellow perch since they are so plentiful.
